What is Virtual Trivia Night?

Trivia Night one of the most popular events on the HSA calendar, so this year, we’re going virtual! The event will be held over Zoom. Just as with our usual in-person event, teams will compete in a pub-style trivia contest. Topics will include everything from geography, history, sports, current events, pop culture, music, movies, etc.Players can be in separate locations; each team will be grouped together in its own breakout room to work on the answer together.

How does Virtual Trivia Night work?

Questions will be read to participants as well as being shown on a slide in the Zoom call.Players can take a picture (with their phone) of the slide once all 10 questions have been read. After the questions are read and shown on the screen, teams will be put into breakout rooms. In the breakout rooms, you will be with your teammates and can see and hear each other, but not be overheard by other teams. The team will finalize their answers and the team captain will email the answers for scoring.

How do I sign up?

You can sign up below as a team of as many as 12 people. We’ll ask you to name your team captain; team captains will be responsible for sending in the team’s name and, on the night of the event, emailing your team’s answers in.

Or sign up and ask to be placed on a team and HSA will match you up!

Registration will close on Wednesday, March 24, or when we reach the maximum number of teams, whichever comes first.

Maximum number of teams: 15

Maximum players per team: 12 people

Are there prizes?

Yes – prizes will be awarded to the winning team! Plus you will have bragging rights for the whole year.
