| PASTORAL REFLECTION Sr. Ann Parker, IHM Take some time on Easter Sunday to reflect and accompany Mary Magdalene to the tomb. Walk through the darkness you have experienced in your personal or faith life. Go into that empty tomb, look around and join the disciples as they "see and believe" and go forth together. |

This Easter season, please consider giving up your envelopes and enrolling in our online giving system. Faith Direct allows you to support Little Flower and our ministries even when you are unable to join us for Mass. Enrolling in Faith Direct only takes a few minutes. You may also make a safe and secure one-time Easter gift online. Online giving is the most cost-effective way for our parish to receive your generous donations. | |

LITTLE FLOWER CHOIRS All Choirs to return to liturgy April 24 (Divine Mercy Sunday). If you are looking for a way to contribute to the liturgy, there has never been a better time to join one of our three liturgical choirs. The choirs will sing from April 24 until June 19 (Corpus Christi) and then break for the summer. Interested members should contact the Director of Music, Zach Tilkens (ztilkens@gmail.com) in order to set up a brief informal audition. During this time, prospective choir members may choose to sing: (1) a portion of their favorite hymn or (2) any piece they have prepared. This is a great opportunity to meet and find the best placement for the singer's voice. The 10:30am Traditional Choir - This group rehearses in the choir loft each Wednesday from 7:30-9pm and includes many loyal volunteer singers with years of experience, as well as trained section leaders. The choir members have a call time of 10am on Sundays and sing repertoire to highlight the liturgy. The repertoire spans from Palestrina to Rutter to contemporary sacred selections. The 9am and 12Noon Contemporary Choirs - These groups have a number of loyal experienced singers who coordinate with the cantor and musical director each week in order to highlight the liturgy in a meaningful way. The music selections span contemporary genres with music from and influenced by the following genres: spirituals, folk, jazz, blues, praise music, etc. These singers meet 30 minutes prior to mass by the piano at the front of the church and do not have a weekly rehearsal. |

He is risen! Alleluia! "Now let the heavens be joyful, let earth her song begin; Let the round world keep triumph, and all that is therein! Let all things seen and unseen their notes of gladness blend, For Christ the Lord hath risen, our Joy that hath no end!" (St. John Damascene, Doctor of the Church) Stewardship of our Spiritual Lives - Through our practices of prayer, spiritual exercises, Scripture study, penance and almsgiving during Lent, we pray that we have attained a higher level of commitment, which we will want to sustain throughout the year. We now have a new baseline on which we can continue to build, as we respond to the universal call to holiness. Stewardship of Easter Gifts - Lord, bring to perfection the spirit of life we receive from these Easter gifts. Free us from seeking after the passing things in life and help us to set our hearts on the kingdom of heaven. (Prayer over the Gifts) "Resurrection of Jesus means that the very foundations of the cosmos have been shaken." (Bishop Robert Barron) |
