Student Activities

Little Flower offers a wide range of activities to help promote the unique talents of each child and to encourage socialization in a range of settings.

Popular activities for students include Christmas and Spring concerts, poetry recitals and class plays and performances. They also participate in a variety of cultural arts assemblies and field trips.

Upper grade students may choose to participate in speech and mathematics competitions or develop their leadership skills through safety patrols, student council, and planners for the annual School Field Day.

Our school offers opportunities to grow through the arts. Little Flower students in Grades 3-8 may join the Children's Choir, which sings at special liturgies in the parish and at the school's First Friday liturgies. We also participate in the Archdiocesan Band Program which provides instrumental music training and performance opportunities throughout the year. Girls and boys in Grades 4-8 also have the opportunity to serve as Altar Servers for our parish community.

Interscholastic sports programs in soccer, cross country, basketball, baseball, and softball- open to all of the youth of Little Flower Parish and School - are organized through the Archdiocesan Catholic Youth Organization (CYO). Parents volunteer to coach most of the teams.

Other activities offered after school hours include special programs in art, dance, music, tumbling, public speaking, field hockey, lacrosse, flag football, running club, Safe Sitters, science enrichment, and study skills.
